Meet Megan!

Hello! My name is Megan and I am a Masters Student in Youth and Community Work at the University of East London. I am so lucky to have joined Canaan Project for my placement - it is amazing to have the opportunity to work with young women in my borough and with such a lovely team.

I have lived in Tower Hamlets for the past five years and this area is very special to me, so I'm excited to spend even more time here with the young people who represent the future of this great part of London. Before joining Canaan Project I previously worked in youth market research, and I also have experience working with young women in France running an after school club. I am passionate about girls and young women having access to all of the experiences and opportunities that they need and deserve, so I can't wait to see what we will get up to during the rest of this term!
